Right of withdrawal

We offer a 14-day full return policy for items purchased in our webshop. Returned items must be in their original packaging, unused and unbroken.

The period is calculated from the day:

• You receive the order.
• You take physical possession of the last item, in the case of an agreement on several different items, ordered in one order but delivered individually or in several stages.
• You take physical possession of the last lot, or the last part, in the case of an agreement for the delivery of items consisting of several lots/parts.
• You take physical possession of the first item, in the case of regular delivery of items over a specific period.

You are responsible for return shipping costs.

Cancellation must be notified to us no later than 14 days after the purchase, and the shipment must be returned no later than 7 days after the expiry of the cancellation period. Notification must be given by email to webshop@aldershvile-planteskole.dk. In the message, you must clearly state that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal. If you wish to return the item to us, you must send it to:

You cannot cancel simply by refusing to accept the item without simultaneously giving clear notice of this.

Items purchased in our physical store can, as a rule, also be returned under the right of withdrawal. However, this will be subject to a specific assessment, as plants and trees generally quickly deteriorate or become obsolete if they are not cared for and maintained correctly.

Items exempt from the right of withdrawal

The following types of goods are not included in the right of withdrawal:

• Items manufactured according to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized.
• Sealed goods which, for health protection or hygiene reasons, are not suitable for return and where the seal has been broken after delivery.
• Goods which, due to their nature, become inextricably mixed with other goods upon delivery.
• Goods where the seal has been broken.
• Non-financial services performed, if the performance of the service has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgment that the right of withdrawal ceases when the service has been fully performed.
• Goods that deteriorate or expire quickly.

Returns

You must return your order without undue delay and no later than 7 days after the expiry of the right of withdrawal.

You must bear the direct costs of returning the item. When returning, you are responsible for ensuring that the item is properly packaged. You must enclose a copy of the receipt, invoice or order confirmation.

You bear the risk for the item from the time of its delivery until we have received it back.

We do not accept packages sent cash on delivery.

Purchases in the webshop - Returns

Dry goods
All dry goods (not applicable to plants) can be returned within 14 days (standard right of withdrawal). Items must be returned in the same condition as they were received (unused, original, and unbroken packaging). You can only exercise the right of withdrawal if you can provide valid documentation that the item was purchased from us (via receipt, invoice, or order confirmation) in connection with the return. When returning items purchased in the webshop, please contact us by email to request a return label. Return costs the same as your shipping price and is paid by the customer. The email you should use is webshop@aldershvile-planteskole.dk. 

Live plants
All plants must be returned to the physical store within 3 days; this does not apply to summer flowers and bare-rooted plants, as live goods require special care in handling. Items must be returned in the same condition as they were received. You can only exercise the right of withdrawal if you can provide valid documentation that the item was purchased from us (via receipt, invoice, or order confirmation) in connection with the return.

Purchases in the garden center - Returns

Condition of the item upon return

Returned items must be in original packaging, unused and unbroken. You are only liable for any deterioration in the value of the item caused by handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the item. In other words, you can try on the item as if you were trying it on in a physical store.

If the item has been tried on beyond what is described above, it will be considered used. This means that upon cancellation of the purchase, you will only receive a part or none of the purchase amount back, depending on the commercial value of the item at the time of receipt of the return. To receive the full purchase amount back, you must therefore test the item without actually taking it into use.
