Prices

At Aldershvile Planteskole, all prices are in Danish kroner and include VAT and duties. We reserve the right to change prices from day to day without prior consent. We are not liable for out-of-stock items.

Price differences may occur between the webshop and the physical store, as well as discounts.

Prices at Aldershvile Planteskole are not fixed. We purchase based on market value, and products are priced accordingly. Therefore, prices may vary.

Payment in the webshop

Aldershvile Planteskole's webshop accepts payment with VISA-Dankort, VISA, VISA Electron, PayPal, MobilePay. Payment will only be debited from your account when the item is shipped. However, for Click & Collect orders, payment is debited immediately once the items are packed.
All amounts are in Danish kroner and include VAT. We are not liable for price errors or out-of-stock/discontinued items.

Payment in the store

Aldershvile Planteskole's physical store accepts payment with VISA-Dankort, VISA, VISA Electron, Mastercard.

Delivery

We ship to all of Denmark (excluding Greenland and the Faroe Islands), Sweden, Norway, and Germany. Shipping costs include freight, packaging, and handling fees.

Items will be delivered to the delivery address specified at the time of order or to a GLS Parcel Shop. Your items will be shipped with GLS.

Deliveries are made on all weekdays. Your order will be processed 1-3 business days after ordering in the webshop. Special delivery terms apply to certain items. These terms will be specifically stated before purchasing such items.

Right to complain

A 2-year right to complain is granted in accordance with the Danish Sale of Goods Act. Our right to complain covers defects in material and/or manufacturing. You can have the item exchanged, receive a refund, or a price reduction, depending on the specific situation. The complaint does not cover errors or damages caused by incorrect handling of the product/service. You must complain within a "reasonable time" after you have discovered the defect. Aldershvile Planteskole will cover return costs to a reasonable extent.

Refunds

In case of a refund, please include bank details in the form of your registration number and account number so that the agreed amount can be transferred. This information can be provided without risk via email or other electronic form, as it is not sensitive information and will only be used for the purpose of processing your refund.

Right of withdrawal

You have a 14-day full right of return on items purchased in our webshop. Returned items must be in original packaging, unused, and undamaged.

The period is calculated from the day:

• You receive the order.
• You physically receive the last item when it concerns an agreement on several different items, ordered in one order, but delivered individually or in several batches.
• You physically receive the last batch, or last part when it concerns an agreement on delivery of items consisting of several batches/parts.
• You physically receive the first item when it concerns regular delivery of items over a specific period.

You are responsible for the return costs.

Withdrawal must be notified to us no later than 14 days after purchase, and the shipment must be returned no later than 7 days after the expiry of the withdrawal period. Notification must be sent by email to webshop@aldershvile-planteskole.dk. In the notification, you must clearly state that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal. If you wish to return the item to us, you must send it to:

You cannot withdraw simply by refusing to receive the item without also giving clear notification thereof.

Items purchased in our physical store can generally also be returned under the right of withdrawal. However, this will be subject to a specific assessment, as plants and trees generally deteriorate or become obsolete quickly if not properly cared for and maintained.

Items exempt from the right of withdrawal

The following types of goods are not included in the right of withdrawal:

• Goods manufactured according to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized.
• Sealed goods which are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons and where the seal has been broken after delivery.
• Goods which, due to their nature, are inextricably mixed with other goods upon delivery.
• Goods where the seal has been broken.
• Non-financial services performed, if the provision of the service has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgment that the right of withdrawal ceases when the service has been fully performed.
• Goods that deteriorate or expire quickly.

Returns

You must return your order without undue delay and no later than 7 days after the expiry of the right of withdrawal.

You must bear the direct costs of return. When returning, you are responsible for ensuring that the item is properly packaged. You must enclose a copy of the receipt, invoice, or order confirmation.

You bear the risk for the item from the time of delivery until we have received it back.

We do not accept packages sent cash on delivery.

Webshop purchases - Returns

Dry goods
All dry goods (excluding plants) can be returned within 14 days (standard right of withdrawal). Items must be returned in the same condition as received (unused, original and unbroken packaging). You can only exercise the right of withdrawal if, in connection with the return, you can provide valid documentation that the item was purchased from us (with a receipt, invoice or order confirmation). When returning items purchased from the webshop, please contact us by email to request a return label. Returns cost the same as your shipping price and are paid by the customer. Live plants
All plants must be returned to the physical store within 3 days, this does not apply to annuals and bare-root plants, as live goods require special care in handling. Items must be returned in the same condition as received. You can only exercise the right of withdrawal if, in connection with the return, you can provide valid documentation that the item was purchased from us (with a receipt, invoice or order confirmation).

Plant nursery purchases - Returns

Dry goods

Live plants

Items must be returned in the same condition as received. You can only exercise the right of withdrawal if, in connection with the return, you can provide valid documentation that the item was purchased from us (with a receipt, invoice or order confirmation).

Condition of the item upon return

Returned goods must be in original packaging, unused and undamaged. You are only liable for any deterioration in the value of the goods that is due to handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. In other words, you can try the item as if you were trying it in a physical store.

If the item has been tried more than described above, it is considered used. This means that upon withdrawal of the purchase, you will only receive part or none of the purchase amount back, depending on the commercial value of the item at the time of receipt of the return. To receive the full purchase amount back, you must therefore test the item without actually taking it into use.

Refunds

If you regret your purchase, you will naturally get the value of the goods at the time of purchase refunded. In the event of a depreciation for which you are liable, this will be deducted from the purchase amount.

When exercising the right of withdrawal, payments received from you, excluding delivery costs, will be refunded without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date on which we received notification of your decision to exercise the right of withdrawal. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the item back, unless you have provided documentation that you have returned it before then.

Refunds for gift cards

We follow the guidelines for gift card refunds within the gift card's validity period, in accordance with the Danish Consumer Ombudsman. A processing fee will be charged for gift card refunds. The fee will be offset against the gift card's value. Fee: DKK 100.

Refunds for unclaimed GLS packages

We follow the guidelines for refunds. We will contact the customer with the option of collection. If collection is not possible, the order will be refunded, excluding shipping costs and a handling fee. Fee: DKK 50.

Refunds for ticket sales, lectures, events, etc.
Tickets purchased for the nursery's events are non-refundable. If you no longer wish to use your ticket, you are free to resell it. We are not responsible for resales. Refunds for events are only granted if: the event is cancelled or dates are changed.

In-store pickup - 'Click & Collect'

On our webshop, it is possible to choose to pick up our products in our store. This way, you can reserve an item online and then pick it up physically in our store. Since the item is picked up in our store, the same terms apply as when you shop physically in our store.

Items and gift cards ordered as 'Click & Collect' must be picked up within 30 days. If not picked up, the order will be cancelled.

Alcohol

According to Danish law, individuals must be at least 18 years old to purchase alcohol above 16.50%. For purchases of alcohol below 16.50%, individuals must be 16 years old.
We reserve the right to request valid photo identification as age verification in cases of doubt.

Gift Cards

When you order gift cards online, you can choose to have them sent to a GLS parcel shop or to a private address. All gift cards are sent with GLS.

Personal data policy

In order for you to enter into an agreement with us and shop on our website, we need the following information about you:

• Name
• Address
• Phone number
• Email address
• Information about what you have purchased

We process your personal data for the purpose of delivering the goods to you and processing inquiries regarding your purchase. The processing takes place in accordance with the rules in our personal data policy for Aldershvile Planteskole. Press, video and photography

At Aldershvile Planteskole, you are welcome to photograph for private use. However, all photography must be done with consideration for the nursery's other customers and employees. As a private customer, you are welcome to take pictures for your private social media profiles. If you are in doubt about anything, please contact the staff.

Commercial use

All photography and video recording for commercial use may only take place after agreement and written permission from Aldershvile Planteskole.

Rights and changes

We at Aldershvile plant nursery unilaterally reserve the right to change our terms and conditions when we deem it necessary. All rights to workshops, courses, and events belong to Aldershvile plant nursery Aps.

Copyrights

Patented plant varieties may not be propagated by division or saved for further propagation.

Law and jurisdiction

Aldershvile plant nursery is a Danish company that reserves the right to Danish law. If disagreements arise, the individual case must be reported to the Copenhagen City Court, which will handle the case.
